Privacy policy

Who we are

Riad Chay & Boutique, Douar Tifoultoute, Tarmigt, 45000 Ouarzazate, Morocco. Email riad.chay@gmail.com, phone +212 6 61 70 38 86. We are responsible for the personal data collected on this website.

What we collect and why

• Contact form. Your name, email, phone (optional), dates and message, to answer your request. Kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Bookings. Reservations are made in the WuBook booking engine. The details you enter there are processed by WuBook for the riad, to manage your stay and payment.
• Visit statistics. We count page views ourselves, without cookies and without storing your IP address: a visitor is a short code that changes every day and cannot identify you. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted. Statistics are kept for 13 months.
• Optional tools. Analytics or advertising tools are only loaded if you accept them in the cookie settings. Currently: none at the moment.

Maps, Instagram and reviews

The Google map on our location page loads only when you click it. Instagram photos and reviews shown on this site are copied to our server, so viewing them does not connect you to Instagram, Google or Tripadvisor. Links to those platforms open their sites, with their own policies.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers who run this website (our host, Hostinger International Ltd. (hostinger.com)) and the booking engine, and when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to riad.chay@gmail.com. Moroccan law 09-08 applies, and the GDPR for visitors in the European Union. You may also contact the CNDP in Morocco or your local data protection authority.
